Guarantee & Warranty
Every time you use Smart Casual Consulting, we premise to:
· Fix it or the service is free.
· Be onsite within one hour of your booked time.
· During the service, our technician will regularly update you with the progress.
· After each job you will receive a follow up call to ensure that you are 100% happy with the job.
· Each job will be completed to the highest standard.
· You pay for the job done, not the amount of time spent.
Guarantee:
· All work is guaranteed for 30 days, so if you’re not 100% satisfied let us know and we will rectify the problem.
· All hardware comes with a 1year onsite warranty subject to manufacture terms and conditions. This warranty covers the hardware and onsite replacement only. In the case of replacing hardware that can have an effect on data such as hard drive installation it does not cover data recovery or reinstallation of the operating system should that piece of hardware fail within the warranty period.
Backups and data restore:
· If your computer requires re-installation, the following items will be restored: Operating System, Microsoft office package (licence to be provided by customer), one other product, Itunes, email settings, network connection and files upto 25Gb.
· The guru may request full backups to be done before risky work is undertaken, the backup is performed at the customers expense. Also, Smart Casual Consulting Solutions assumes no liability for data loss on any medium or problems caused by software or user.
· Smart Casual Consulting does not maintain any user data, the end user is responsible for the backups performed, all user passwords and any other relevant information.
Virus/Malware Removal:
· Removal of virus and malware is covered by the standard 14day labour warranty. This is only applicable if the computer system has approved antivirus software installed which has been updated and verified as working by the customer.
· A system that comes back for virus/malware removal can only be cleaned once under warranty. If the virus/malware is still not completely removed the system will need to be reinstalled at additional cost to the customer.
This guarantee does not cover:
· Damage, fault, failure or malfunction due to external causes, including accident, abuse, misuse, problems with electrical power.
· Works not authorised or performed by Smart Casual Consulting.
· Usage, storage or installation of software or hardware in accordance with Product instructions.
· Failure to perform required preventive maintenance, normal wear and tear.
· Act of God, fire, flood or any similar occurrence.
· Any attempt by any person other than Smart Casual Consulting technical staff or any person authorised by Smart Casual Consulting, to adjust, repair or support the Products, and problems caused by use of parts and components not supplied by Smart Casual Consulting.
· Items that are in one or more of the following categories: software; external devices; accessories or parts added to the Product after the Product is supplied by Smart Casual Consulting.
Smart Casual Consulting Warranty Conditions:
· The Smart Casual Consulting standard warranty covers labour to equal the amount spent on the original invoice. If the labour costs exceeds that of the original invoice, Smart Casual Consulting will charge that difference. Additionally:
· Software installation, modification and configuration performed by Smart Casual Consulting is covered for a period of 30 days from the invoice date, except under circumstances mentioned in this document.
· All outstanding invoices must be paid in full before any warranty work will commence.
