Our Methods
Many IT repair shops today are still operating under the age-old model of break-fix – something breaks or fails, and a technician is called in to repair it. At its most basic level, it’s a model that makes sense – businesses make money by responding to inevitable malfunctions and downtime and are compensated accordingly. There’s one big problem, however – an IT service provider whose business operates solely in a break-fix mindset is continually operating in “emergency mode”. Clients only call when something breaks down – a hectic time when they’re worried about losing business and feel they can’t recover on their own. Today, the IT service industry is evolving, and methods of service delivery must evolve as well. This white paper explores five key benefits of a fully-managed IT services model, and offers insight into the various points of transition you’ll need to consider in order to make your way from break-fix provider to successful and trusted IT Provider.
